Creative Practice for Collective Liberation

Our workshops blend theatre, storytelling, and somatic practice to spark transformation. Whether navigating consent, grief, or community organizing, each session invites participants to explore human connection through play, creativity, and care. Designed with popular education principles, our offerings leave people with tools—not just insights—to lead, heal, and build together.

Yes, And… (Consent)

A dynamic workshop using theatre, storytelling, and role-play to explore the principles of consent in relationships, organizing, and everyday life. Participants leave with tools to practice active consent in their personal and professional spaces. This workshop centers on creating enthusiastic, intentional “yeses” and meaningful, empowered “nos.” Through image theatre games and role-plays, participants share their experiences with consent and develop the skills to communicate boundaries effectively. Whether it’s in the workplace, at home, or in the community, participants will leave with tools to navigate everyday environments with clarity and confidence.

Grief Lab (Leadership)

This space acknowledges grief as a powerful teacher. Through guided reflection, somatic exercises, and conversation, this workshop helps leaders process collective and personal loss while cultivating emotionally grounded leadership. Feelings are data, and grief has power! In this workshop, we create space to honor emotions through creative, emergent activities that allow participants to reflect, express gratitude, and move forward. By practicing popular education methodologies, participants learn how to integrate grief into their work culture, turning emotional awareness into meaningful conflict resolution and actionable plans. We believe that feelings and productivity can coexist to create healthier, more effective teams.

Arts in it all (Social Change)

This interactive session honors the role of art in movements for justice. Participants explore how creativity fuels resilience, deepens community engagement, and brings visions for liberation to life. Art and culture are powerful tools for social change. This workshop supports participants to integrate more creativity and play strategies into their organizing and advocacy efforts, developing additional approaches to activate community members and energize issue campaigns. Participants will leave equipped with cultural tools and strategies to strengthen their work and inspire collective action.

Let's build something brave, creative, and transformative together.

Whether you're planning a retreat, training your team, or reimagining how your organization holds space—TaylorSpace workshops are designed to meet the moment.
